Apprenticeship in Childcare: An apprenticeship in Childcare is the best way to launch your career in Childcare. This programme comprises of:

  • Vocational learning in childcare
  • Functional Skills in Maths, English & ICT (if needed)
  • Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)
  • Personal Learning and Thinking Skills


Programme Information: Intermediate apprenticeship

  • Duration: Minimum 12 months
  • Vocational Learning: QCF Level 2 Certificate in Childcare or its RQF equivalent
  • Functional Skills: Level 1 or GCSE Equivalent
  • Mode of Learning: Workplace / Classroom
  • ERR: Level 2 Award in Employee Rights and Responsibilities


Advanced apprenticeship

  • Duration: Minimum 12 months
  • Vocational Learning: QCF Level 3 Diploma in Childcare or its RQF equivalent
  • Functional Skills: Level 2 or GCSE Equivalent
  • Mode of Learning: Workplace / Classroom
  • ERR: Level 2 Award in Employee Rights and Responsibilities

Entry requirements:
