Apprentices are entitled to minimum wage, which is currently £4.15. During their apprenticeship, Apprentices will be paid at least the minimum wage throughout. However, some employers may pay their apprentices much more than this.

Apprentices salaries can fluctuate, this can be down to a variety of reasons:

  • Geographical location of the role
  • Sector type
  • Employers believe in the apprenticeship programme and want to encourage the apprentice to succeed.
