You will be matched up with Early years employers to learn the practical skills – which will prepare you fully to start working as Early Years Educator immediately after the end of course. The awarding body does not stipulate any entry requirements for this qualification. That means, you do not need to have a level 1 / 2 or any other qualification from beforehand to join this course. This also means that you do not need to have any previous experience.
Being a learning provider who focusses on getting our learners in to work – we also have to consider the regulatory requirements the employers must adhere to. To become licensed as an Early Years Educator, it is required that the learner has GCSE Maths and English at Grade C (for both) or above / or their Functional Skills equivalent.
If you do not have those, you can still complete the course, however, to start working, you will need to complete Functional Skills Maths and English at Level 2 alongside this programme. We can provide you training for these too.
